Tahuna Breaks
Dubbed as "One of the most promising acts to breakthrough the NZ music scene in recent years", Tahuna Breaks' unique combination of funk fuelled grooves, reggae, and live energy has become a favourite amongst party goers and music connoisseurs across New Zealand. On their rise to greatness, they have been fortunate enough to share the stage with such top Kiwi bands as Fat Freddy's Drop, Salmonella Dub, Tiki Live, Katchafire, Kora, and The Blacks Seeds. Aside from their numerous live stage appearances.

The Checks
The Checks brand of blues-driven, jazzed-up, high-energy, raw, soul madness has seen the young band sell out venues that are packed to the rafters with dance-crazed punters.
They have toured Japan with The Hives, supported Muse around Australia and NZ and were invited personally by Michael Stipe from REM to join them on the NZ leg of their world tour. After a mind-blowing 18 month stint in London they're back and bad in NZ making waves with their second album, Alice By The Moon and ripping up dance floors all over the country.

Kidz in Space
First witnessed by an earthling audience at the 2009 Big Day Out they have swiftly reached stratospheric levels. In October 09 they jet-setted to New York for the CMJ Music Festival where they tore the house down with an earth-shattering performance. Since then it’s been a steady climb to national domination, and with performances at nearly every NZ summer festival these Kidz are set for stardom. The 7-track debut Kidz In Space EP, Episode 001: Chasing Hayley; is available now in the digital world.

Tommy Ill
Hailing from Wellington, Tommy Ill produces tongue-in-cheek style indie hip-hop featuring his trademark humor with lyrics about everyday subjects. Often seen wearing a costume, or being piggybacked on stage by one of his sidekicks, he is a true entertainer and definitely not your typical rap artist.

The Aviators
After three years of relentless funk flowing all over the country with regular touring between Queenstown and Auckland city, The Aviators are bringing their high energy show to Wellington Beerfestival. Like all good funk music their sound is infectious! You'll find in near impossible not to dance when these guys take the stage.
