DRINK
Over 70 beers from more than 24 breweries will be represented at the festival, a wide range of predominantly New Zealand beers with a few notable overseas visitors.

Aotearoa Breweries
MATA beer is premium-handcrafted beer brewed in the Eastern Bay of Plenty by Aotearoa Breweries. MATA beer is brewed using certified organic artesian water sourced specially for its quality and taste. No additives or preservatives used.

RVI Baltika
The Baltika Breweries was established in 1990. Since the brewery's inception, Baltika's business strategy has been to produce a superior product by combining the finest European ingredients with state of the art technology. Baltika has the largest water distilling station in St. Petersburg which guarantees crystal clear water. This relentless commitment to quality has earned Baltika the Russian Government Quality Prize.

Bennett's Fine Beers and Ales
The brainchild of entrepreneur Maurice Bennett, who both creates and markets the beer. Bennett's beers are winners of numerous beer awards. The beers, covering a a wide range of styles and tastes, are quickly becoming New Zealand classics.

Carlsberg
The 2nd largest beer brand in the world is finding a home here in New Zealand. Carlsberg is a premium quality all-malt beer spiced by the unique Carlsberg aroma hop, to deliver an unsurpassed taste experience. This is why it is probably the best beer in the world.

Croucher Brewing
Croucher Brewing's HEF is a Hefeweizen beer, a German-styled cloudy wheatbeer. Sometimes referred to as The Hoff, The HassleHEF, or the HEFalump, this beer's catchy name is backed up by its delicious and enticing flavour, and is ideal on a hot summers day.

Epic Beer
Making a great tasting beer calls for a prodigious amount of toil and love. It also takes a shed-load of hops. In fact, there are 15 hops crammed into every bottle of Epic Pale Ale. Many brewers would call that insane. We call it flavour. Epic Pale Ale won the Supreme Beer Award at BrewNZ 2006.

Emersons
The hallmark of an Emerson's beer is the sheer intensity of flavour. These premium beers combine fidelity to style, aroma flavour and finish with their own distinctive balance and memorability.

Grolsch
Born in 1615, Grolsch has long held a reputation as a premium quality beer. A real beer drinker's beer, Grolsch also has the unique SwingTop bottle in its range. Fully imported from Netherlands, Grolsch is one of the only affordable imported beers left on the market. Grolsch is a beer to be enjoyed, not rushed.

Harrington's Brewery
Nationally and Internationally recognized over the last eighteen years for their high standard of hand crafted and designer beers. For clients that like to have their own brand and to give them their own identity and individuality!

Hoegaarden
Hoegaarden White is named after the village where Hoegaarden beer originated in 1445. The secret to the refreshing sweet and sour taste is the blend of coriander and orange peel. Hoegaarden is a unfiltered beer, which gives it its natural cloudiness and preserves the distinctive aromas. Hoegaarden is perfectly matched with fresh mussels.

Hofbräuhaus
On September 27, 1589, Duke Wilhelm V founded a brewery on the site of the Munich royal residence of that time. This first Hofbräuhaus lasted till the year 1808 and was only a few steps away from today's one. Maximilian I built his ducal Weissbier brewery in 1607, thus laying the historical foundations of today's Hofbräuhaus.

Kirin
Kirin's unique first press brewing method ensures purity and smoothness, resulting in a high refreshing 5% premium lager crafted to exacting Japanese standards. Unlike other beers, only the liquid drawn from the first mix of malt and water is extracted when the ingredients are at their purest. The result is a high quality, pure tasting Japanese lager with no additives or preservatives.

Leffe
Originating in 1240 Leffe is an authentic Belgian Abbey Beer, brewed according to traditions recipes of the monks of the Abbey of Leffe. Leffe has over 850 years brewing heritage which has resulted in unique and balanced Abby beers. The variants include Leffe Blonde and Leffe Brune, Leffe Blonde complements abbey cheeses and Leffe Brune matches well with hearty meat dishes.

Mac's
Mac's Brewery wishes only to make fine beers, Naturally Brewed and free from all corner-cutting additives.

Yeastie Boys
Yeastie Boys is the brewing brainchild of local brewer Stu McKinlay and New Zealand's most notorious beer hunter Sam "The Grandmaster" Possenniskie. In the name of research these two beer lovers have spent their informative years immersed within the secretive inner sanctum of the brewing world, tasting more than 2,000 different beers, in 70-plus different styles, from over 50 countries. Yeastie Boys are now unleashing this research with series of seasonal beers unlike anything else the New Zealand beer drinking public have tasted before.
Alcoholic Alternatives

Sileni Estates Winery
Based near Hastings, Hawke's Bay, on the east coast of the North Island of New Zealand the vineyard and winery has a southern latitude of 39° and a climate similar to that of some of the great wine regions of the world. Sileni Estates also source grapes from the well known wine producing area of Marlborough, including Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir.
